“Frome Field 2 Fork is an organisation started in Frome in 2019. Our vision is of happy, healthy and resilient communities that work together. We want to support everyone of all abilities and ages to be able to grow, buy and eat local food, produced in ways that support our environment.

  • A welcoming & inclusive space with meaningful volunteering, education and work experience, for all abilities and ages, in walking distance from Frome town center.
  • This will include a community garden, and later on a plant nursery with edible plants and community kitchen.
  • Activities and projects will be created together with our community. These will include soil preparation, creating no dig vegetable beds and building a compost toilet.
  • There will soon be regular volunteering days, education courses, workshops, horticultural therapy and food production.

We also aim to work with local stakeholders to develop and implement strategies to further strengthen our local food resilience.
